What you will learn:

  • Holistic wellbeing (whare tapa whā)

  • New Zealand health and wellbeing sector legislation, regulations and codes

  • Cultural competency and effective communication skills

  • Recognise and respond to changing needs and issues in a health and wellbeing setting including signs of vulnerability and abuse

  • Provide person-centred health and wellbeing support to maximise a person’s independence

What you will get:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 3 upon completion. 70 NZQA Credits.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

    • Must be 16 years or older

    • Must have basic English skills

    • Must have basic computer skills

    • Access to a devices (such as laptop or desktop and WIFI)

    • Students must declare if they have any criminal record or any disability that may affect their learning.

    • Must reside in Auckland

    • Entry interview to ensure you have the ability to complete a level 3 programme. Interview will include a discussion regarding relevant experience in the health & wellbeing sectors.
