What you will learn:
This 20 week programme consists of 4 papers each worth 15 credits:
  • I.T Infrastructure
  • Database Management Project

  • Web Design and Development

  • Programming Fundamentals

What you will get:
  • New Zealand Certificate in I.T Essentials (Level 4) (60 NZQA credits) upon completion

  • Graduates completing this programme will have the transferrable skills and knowledge to commence a career in I.T or move to more advanced study. Trouble-shooting systems issues and I.T service management
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be 17 years of age or over and will be eligible on the basis of meeting the requirements below
  • Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • 40 credits at NCEA Level 1 including 10 literacy and 10 numeracy credits; OR

  • The New Zealand Certificate in Computing (Intermediate User) (Level 3); OR

  • Demonstrated equivalence through work, study and/or life experience.
