In this course, you’ll work on employment skills, self-development, confidence, self-esteem and motivation. We’ll help you overcome anything that may prevent you from getting a job. This course will help you get better at reading, writing and working with numbers. You’ll also have help with digital, financial, emotional, and workplace literacy.

  • Search for jobs tips and support

  • Practise applying for jobs

  • Practise all types of interviews (including video)

  • Apply for jobs online using Solomon Group resources and support

License support:

We can also support you in getting the relevant employment licenses required to secure that job.

  • Building and construction access (Site Safe, civil passport, ConstructSafe, Go Safe, elevating work platforms)

  • Retail and hospitality (basic food hygiene, LCQ)

  • Security (COA / unit standards)

  • Warehousing and logistics (forklift, F endorsement, dangerous goods)

Eligibility:

  • You must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Be committed to regular attendance
